NIM6018 is a single-chip DMA controller for the SBus. It supports masterand slave devices. Two independent channels can be used to connect toSCSI and Ethernet controllers.For SBus add-on cards, the NIM6018 can be used in a variety of ways tosave board space and cost. The NIM6018 is pin-compatible and functionallycompatible with LSI Logic's L64853 DMA chip, but offers additionalflexibility with full 32-bit address and count registers. The NIM6D18 isalso a highly reliable, fully scan-tested ship. It is packaged in a 120-pin PQFP.
